Robbers run the roost in Gujranwala

GUJRANWALA: Dacoits and thieves took away cash, gold ornaments, vehicles and other valuables in 19 hits here on Wednesday. At Ferozewala armed men intercepted Bashir and snatched Rs 40 thousands and cell phone, in Ghakkar Mandi bandits looted Rs 25 thousand and cell phone from Imran, robbers took away Rs 27 thousand, gold chain and two cell phones from Hashim in Qilla Didar Singh police station limit, in Sadar Gujranwala area dacoits looted Rs 70 thousand, three cell phones from Mansab while Jehangir was deprived of Rs 40 thousand, an applied for motorcycle and cell phone in this area, in Khiali police station limit armed men snatched Rs 22 thousand and cell phone from Hammad, in Sadar Wazirabad area bandits looted Rs 50 thousand and three cell phones from Habib, at Tatleywali Alam Shahzad was deprived of Rs 120 thousand, gold ornaments and cell phone on gun point, in Satellite town area dacoits took away Rs 30 thousand, cell phone and gold chain from Nabeel, in Cantt area swindlers took away Rs 15 thousand and gold ornaments from Sakina, at Kot Ladha armed men snatched Rs 80 thousand and gold ornaments from Azhar, in Nowshera Virkan robbers looted Rs 50 thousand and two cell phones from Asif, at Wahndo bandits snatched Rs 80 thousand, gold chain and four cell phones from Shamim and Javed, at Emanabad armed men snatched gold ornaments, Rs 60 thousand and cell phone from Khadija, in theft incidents unknown thieves swept the houses and shops of Tufail, Waqas, Waleed and Nadeem while car of Maqbool was stolen from Satellite town area. Police have registered the cases and started investigations.
