Faizaan Ahab Dance (FAD) continues to promote dance and uplift its perception with its dedicated commitment and promising vision of making it mainstream for every Pakistani through videos and live performances.With frequent and successful dance video releases including Contemporary Bollywood, Traditional Garba and Modern Bhangra, FAD is ready to entertain audiences after having shot its first Pakistani Dance Cover. The dance cover is featured on a recent Pakistani hit, “Ik Pal” by Hadiqa Kiani and Harshdeep Kaur for the film ‘Parey Hut Love’. The video has been shot by MK Hadi in Lahore. It celebrates Pakistani music as it takes on a “Behind the Scenes” approach, incorporating Bhangra with Desi freestyle moves and the occasional Thumkas. The choreography comes together with a cheerful ensemble, highlighting the Pakistani spirit and our innate ability to find reasons to be festive, as a nation. It aims to shift the focus from the final performance to the process it goes through, making if more fun, personalized and relatable.With the wedding season 2019 approaching, dance practices will take over the country like a storm. People will be seen inviting and getting invited to group sessions focused on learning dances to put together a fantastic show at upcoming mehndis. While FAD aims to strive for perfection in performances, it also believes that it is the whole experience that makes it perfect, and not the details. We wanted people to associate with the personalised setting giving it a dance practice kind of feel. Dance practices are big in Pakistan and everybody has been to at least one dance practice in their life,” before adding, “The song was originally shot at a wedding in the film. We will nowbe seeing people making a shift from Bollywood to Pakistani songs at weddings. This cover is just a sneak peek into what it’s going to be like”. He also added, “Momo and I have danced together at various weddings and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. That is why, when I came up with the idea, she was the first person that came to my mind.” “Working with Faizaan was an incredible experience, he makes dance seem so effortless.” Said Khalid. “With the wedding season approaching, we wanted to dance to a very catchy Pakistani song. We had a lot of fun practicing and making this video, and I hope everyone will enjoy it as much as we did.”FAD (formerly FACDS), specializes in Contemporary and Bollywood routines, providing services in Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi since the past decade.
