Samad joins Sindh Bank Ltd as President, CEO

Imran Samad has joined the Sindh Bank Limited as its President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Samad has more than 30 years of experience in banks and financial institutions working as a president, CEO, managing director and as senior executive or group head in the areas of Credits, Portfolio Management, Retail Banking, Corporate Finance, Islamic Banking, Agriculture Finance, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME), Micro Credit, etc. He is a visionary banker with a proven record of execution. Samad is a strong communicator who is customer focused with deep leadership capabilities and has a solid understanding of the banking industry and leadership abilities to deliver improved execution and financial performance. Prior to joining the Sindh Bank, Samad worked at Bank of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (BAJK) as President and CEO from November 2016 to September 2019. Previously, he worked as acting managing director of Bank of Khyber and as group head, covering the entire business of the Bank. The Bank is fortunate to have someone of Samad’s caliber and experience to lead the Sindh Bank. The bank with a renewed leadership is destined to successfully implement its strategy and take advantage of the market opportunities ahead.
