Sir: World is conscious about global warming and climate change since many years and most of the countries have invested their huge resources to cope with to mitigate its intensity. Kachho is a famous jungle in district Dadu. World is facing global warming and climate change, Kachho is to be considered most affected of it due to extensive chopping of trees. According to a survey conducted by an NGO working on environment in Dadu reported that on average seven trollies of trees are chopped down per day equals to 97 ton matric per day. This endless ruthlessness with natural forest made Kachho treeless and currently resident of Kachho are wandering for just shadows of tree. Recently district government had declared 88 revenue villages of the district Dadu as drought-affected in which all revenue villages belongs to the aforementioned area of Kachho and district government supported the communities of drought affected areas by providing one time 50 kgs of the wheat bag. Government also prove local people should tree to plant It is my request to Sindh government to look into this matter and save Kachho forest. FAHAD RIND Johi
