Sir: On 5 August 2019, India revoked Article 370 of the constitution which changed the special status of Jammu and Kashmir. The measure was accompanied by the total blackout of media and telecom. Moreover, people are restricted to their homes and curfew was imposed. Political leaders have been put under-house arrest. A group of Indian parliamentarians from opposition led by Rahul Gandhi was not allowed to visit Srinagar. Such nefarious acts prove that something grave afoot in IoK, which will have serious consequences for regional peace and stability. So, the world cannot remain unconcerned over the Kashmir issue.
