Holiday makers are flocking to a little known destination in the Philippines with crystal clear water, white sand, and perfect weather. Until Friday Australian travellers can book flights to the idyllic island of Cebu for as little as $208 from Sydney or Melbourne. From here it’s a short trip to another little known slice of paradise at the island of Siargao – both of which are untouched by the tourist crowds flocking to places like Bali. Recently highlighted by Channel 9s Travel Guides, the Philippines is a must-visit destination, with flights from Australia’s east coast taking approximately 10 hours. Cebu Pacific are offering savvy travellers cheap airfares until Friday as part of their Crazy Seat Sale. From Cebu it’s a short hop to other islands such as Siargao, often compared to a pre-tourist boom Thailand.
