Singer and actor Ali Zafar opened his Pakistan Day Parade concert in New York highlighting an urgent need to resolve the issue of Kashmir. Addressing the parade at Madison Square, New York, Ali Zafar also talked in detail about the plight and suffering of Kashmiri people. “I feel that it is a new era of human awakening,” he said, adding that among everybody from all regions, cast, culture, creed and different belief systems, humanity should prevail.” The singer stressed the need to resolve the long pending issue of Kashmir as early as possible, so that Kashmiris could lead a peaceful and happy life which they deserve for so many years. “We, this generation, urge the world leaders to sit together, talk about it and resolve this issue as per wishes of Kashmiri people. There has already been enough suffering,” he concluded.
