A good number of activists of Qomi Awami Tehreek [QAT] Shikarpur chapter took out protest demonstration rally for repatriation of the Afghan refugees and alarming situation of HIV & Hepatitis in Sindh; It was started marching from Allah Walla Chowk up to Lakhi gate Clock Tower after marching various routes of city, here on Friday. Rally was led by Din Muhammad Shaikh, Zahid Bhanbhro, Zafar Ali Channa Advocate, Asadullah Soomro, Abdul Wahab Kagzi and others. Speaking on the occasion leaders expressed their concerns and said that Sindh government should have taken bold decision like Punjab government, but Sindh government is reluctant to take decision against Afghanis for sending them back to their native soil though almost Afghanis are involved in criminal activities, they added. After giving shelter to Afghan refugees we have trapped in terrorism and severe economic problems they elaborated and further said that according to International agreement Afghanis should be sent back now because of we could not bear further hospitality and severely criticised on the policies of Sindh government. Besides, leaders also expressed their deep concerns over widely alarming situation of increasing HIV and Hepatitis and said that millions of destitute people are suffering horrific disease and dying adding it was feared aforesaid diseases would be increased in near future and accused Sindh government and Health Department that former and latter have failed to overcome on slow poison diseases and termed sheer injustice with people of Sindh. Leaders further allegedly said that Sindh government is using its all out efforts to hide corruption of its leaders and now people of Sindh is well aware with respect to policies of Sindh government and that day is not away when rulers would be asked by people of Sindh in respect of their performance and provided health and other facilities. The representative of Jeay Sindh Mahaz, Jamiat-e-Ulma-e-Pakistan, Sambara Open Scouts, APCA Shikarpur, Shikarpur Youth, city organizations and notables of Shikarpur including Shoukat Balcoh, Ahsan Jeho, Dost Muhammad Chandio, Rashid Lashari, Fahad Shahzad Solangi, and a large number of people belonging to different walk of life attended the rally and raised their voice for not deporting Afghan Refugees to their native soil and threatened if bold decision pertaining Afghani refugees like Punjab government would not be taken they threatened that protest movement would be extended across Sindh for the welfare of the people of Sindh. Activists of QAT were chanting slogans against Sindh government and Afghan Refugees. Two shot dead over illicit relations-Illicit relations once again claimed two precious lives when accused namely Yahya Brohi along with his accomplices allegedly started firing with TT Pistol on Ms Safia, of 18, Brohi by caste and Tarique Brohi, aged around 22, at village Imam Bakhsh Lahri over alleged illicit relations, in the vicinity of Jahan Waah, Police Station, some 40 kilometers off from here on Friday. According to an official, after committing heinous crime suspect Yahya Brohi managed to escape from place of scene. Following on the information area police moved the bodies to District Headquarters Hospital Shikarpur for postmortem and handed over to their heirs after conducting autopsies. A case was to be registered till filling of this news file. One shot dead over alleged hostility-A few unknown armed motorcycle assailants on Friday opened fires with TT pistol on Din Muhammad, of 40, Kallar by caste, when he was having tea at local tea shop at village Shaman Jhullan over brawl took place a few days ago between same community persons, in the vicinity of Khanpur Police Station, some 35 kilometers off from here. After carrying out successful attack armed assailants managed to escape form place of firing while area police reached on the spot and transported the body of deceased to Khanpur Headquarters Hospital for postmortem and handed over to his heirs after completing necessary medical legal formalities. The motive behind the incident was said to be brawl took place between Kallar community persons over trivial issue a few days back. Neither an FIR was lodged nor police have apprehended killers till filling of this news file.
