Three unknown armed assailants killed a youth over an ongoing land dispute in the outskirts of Madeji Town of Shikarpur District on Eid day. The youth was identified as Muhammad Azam (25), son of Hazaro and of caste Mangnejo. He was gunned down next to his village Rabnawaz Mangnejo over an old deadly land dispute in the precinct of the 20-mile police station. According to an official, armed assailants had managed to escape from the site place while police transported the dead body to Madeji Taluka Hospital for autopsy. It was later handed over to his heirs after conducting necessary medico-legal formalities. It was believed that Azam was killed as a result of an old ongoing hospital developed between two groups of Mangneja over a piece of agricultural land. Neither an FIR was lodged nor any suspect was arrested till the filing of this news file.
