Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday directed officials to address the complaints reported through the PM Citizen’s Portal (PCP). “Address the 33,000 unresolved complaints registered through the portal within 14 days,” the PM told the PCP management. The unit has been also directed to contact citizens who later withdrew their complaints. He said that over 960,000 people had used the portal so far. “A total of 764,557 complaints have been registered so far. Out of which, 617,239 were resolved,” he said. Earlier on March 18, Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Media Iftikhar Durrani had said that Pakistan Citizens’ Portal had resolved over 380,000 public complaints ever since October last year. Addressing a news conference in Islamabad, he had said that the technology-based Complaint Resolution System was launched with the aim to ensure checks and balances and give the message that the public sector departments were answerable to the masses, Radio Pakistan reported. Iftikhar Durrani had said the government was improving the systems to deliver according to the expectations of the people.
