Sana Fakhar How do you keep yourself hydrated during Ramazan? It is quite difficult to stay hydrated during Ramazan. It’s a challenge to keep your skin hydrated as well. I try to have a lot of fresh juices in iftari. These help a lot in keeping my hair and skin hydrated. What is the one food item that remains the staple in your home in Ramazan? Which is one you avoid? I eat everything but try to avoid fried items. However, I love vegetables pakkorras and have them sometimes. What is your gym routine like throughout the month? During Ramazan, I hit the gym twice or thrice a week. However, I’m sticking to my routine as I don’t want to ruin my fitness regimen. I’m trying to manage hitting the gym thrice a week, but twice a week is a must. Normally, I workout five days a week. How is a typical Eidul Fitr day like for you every year? Will this year be any different? What are you wearing this year? Eidul Fitr is that festivity that’s enjoyed best when it’s celebrated in a typical manner. People like me who are very busy throughout the year really cherish this national holiday so we can finally spend time with our family and friends – family being the priority as friends you meet every now and then too. For me, Eid is very special and I spend in a traditional way. I plan everything out for Eid, as I’m a wife, a mother and a daughter-in-law. I need to stay prepared and organised. I’m wearing a chikankari outfit since it’s summer. I opt for pastel colours in this season. I think I’ll be wearing a yellow outfit, even though white is my all-time favourite. I’ll ensure that my outfit is very comfortable and traditional.
