JI to observe solidarity with Muslims in Syria, Myanmar

KARACHI: Jamaat Islami Karachi Chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has urged Karachiites to join in the march and express solidarity with their Muslims brothers in Syria and Myanmar.

Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi has finalized its arrangements for a big rally entitled ‘Umaat-e-Rasool’ march to be taken out today on Shahrae-e-Qaideen.

The march is being taken out to spread awareness among the society and to express solidarity with the oppressed Muslims in Myanmar and Syria, particularly Aleppo. JI has already taken stakeholders of the society on board in connection with the march.

Routes have been finalized and arrangements have been made for the rallies from across the city to join the big march.

Jamaat Islami Pakistan chief Senator Siraj-ul-Haq will be leading the Umaat-e-Rasool march. Jamaat Islami Karachi delegations led by city chief Hafiz Naeem Rehman has approached all prominent religious scholars in the city to gain their support on the issue.
