KARACHI: The rulers of Muslim countries remained silent over important and serious issues being faced by the Muslim Ummah.
Amir Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan, Siraj-ul-Haq said on Sunday while addressing a large gathering of Umaat-e-Rasool (SAW) march, organised by his party to express solidarity with the oppressed Muslims of Myanmar and Aleppo.
He hailed the active role of Turkey on issues of Muslims across the world. The current global scenario demands active role of Pakistan in the affairs of the region and the world, he added.

“The United Nation’s Security Council can not be removed for 1.2 billion Muslims from the world, it is the time to abandon the so-called United Nations by the ‘Muslims bloc’ and form its own.”
He also urged Muslim countries to establish a mutual world market, educational syllabus and joint force.
He accused the UN of keeping dual standards and enjoying hypocrisy. He said so-called international institutions do not act to help change the plight of innocent Muslims. They (UN) only come in action, when it serves the interests of global powers. Western world only voices its concerns and does not take any solid step to help the oppressed Muslims across the world, he added.

The condemned the plight of Muslim women and children in Aleppo, who are subjected to rape, physical and mental torture and gruesome executions. He expressed deep sorrow over the silence of Muslims leaders across the world on these serious issues. “The march is a signal of life within Muslims Ummah,” he said. Further, Pakistan has to play an active role against such brutalities and the government should take steps in this regard. JI has always played an active role over the issues of Muslims across the world Siraj added and termed the march as a beacon of hope.

Talking about the situations on Eastern borders, he said blocking water flows to Pakistan would be a declaration of war against the country and affirmed that the nation is strong to fight the war. He resolved that the year 2017 would be a year of struggle for a peaceful Islamic revolution.
