Federal Parliamentary Secretary Andleeb Abbas called on Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar at the CM Office. Speaking on the occasion, CM Usman Buzdar said we are taking measures to provide equal development opportunities to women as the half of the population is consisted of women and targets of development can only achieved with participation of women in every field. He said the role of women is very important for economic and social development of the country. Governments in the past have not taken solid measures to give basic rights to women but the current government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, has included the women in the national mainstream. He said the responsibility of empowering women will be discharged in an effective manner and women will be empowered with providing them equal opportunities of development. The chief minister said women of Pakistan are competent and hardworking and they have proved their talent in every field of life. Revolutionary measures will be taken to empower women. He said the image of Pakistan has improved in the world community after the PTI came to power. He said Pakistan has failed war hysteria of India through successful and best foreign policy. He said we want good relationships with neighbouring countries, but compromise will not be made on solidarity and independence of the country. India should know that the war is the way to destruction and demolition. He said history will remember the sagacious policy of PM Imran Khan for peace in the region. Sardar Usman Buzdar has taken notice on media reports about the murder of woman and her children in the jurisdiction of city police Chiniot and sought a report from the RPO Faisalabad. He directed that facts should be exposed after investigation and legal action should be taken. He said the families of the victims will be provided justice. The chief minister expressed grief and sorrow over the incident and conveyed his sympathies to the families of the victims. He has also taken notice of the murder of a seven years old boy after being kidnapped in Sabzazar area and sought report from the CCPO Lahore. He has assured the family of the victim to provide them justice. The chief minister said the justice will be provided to the family of the victim. The chief minster directed that legal action will be taken against the accused and requirements of justice will be fulfilled. CM terms attack in New Zealand as attack on humanity Later, Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that the attack on mosques in Christchurch city of New Zealand is in fact attack on the humanity. The terrorist has displayed worst form of brutality and cruelty by targeting defenceless people who have gathered for Friday prayers. I am unable to describe my feelings and emotion on this extreme brutality in words. He said every eye is weeping on this barbaric incident. He expressed grief and sorrow over the deaths of two Pakistanis in the New Zealand terror attack. He conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families and said we equally share their grief. The chief minister prayed for the early recovery of all those who have been injured in the attack. Earlier on, Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has expressed grief and sorrow over the death of the mother of PTI MNA Sanaullah Mastikhel.
