BEIRUT: The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that a car bomb on Saturday killed at least 14 people in the rebel-held Syrian town of Azaz located on the border with Turkey. The blast occurred in front of the courthouse and injured dozens of people. Syrians have experienced no respite from violence even though a truce is in place since December 30. The truce was brokered with the backing of Russia and Turkey but has only resulted in a partial stop to fighting in the war-torn country.
