KHYBER AGENCY: The custom officials foiled a bid of smuggling of Pakistani currency to Afghanistan by recovering 4.3 million rupees from two currency smugglers at Torkham border on Tuesday. Superintendent Naeem Khan said that the on duty custom officials at Torkham stopped two Kabul bound suspected persons for look for. During search Rs 2.8 million and Rs 1.5 million were recovered, concealed in their baggages. The two currency pushers identified as Ruhullah s/o Haji Muhammad Umar resident of Charsadda and Khalil Shah s/o Sarfraz of Abbottabad were arrested and case was registered against them, the custom official added.
