Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi is busy promoting his upcoming movie ‘Fraud Saiyaan’ that features Pakistan actress Sara Loren and his ‘Jolly LLB’ co-star Saurabh Shukla. The film was tangled in legal issues for a couple of years and is now finally gearing up for its release. Now, that the movie is up for release, its lead actress Sara Loren is unable to promote the film due to the ban. In a recent interview to mid-day, Sara had revealed that she wishes to come to India and promote the movie. However, she was denied an Indian visa. Speaking to mid-day, she had said, “I wish I could join my team members in India at this moment. Sitting on a sofa, having coffee and watching my [film’s] song on repeat is wonderful. I will hopefully join my team before the film releases.” When Arshad Warsi was asked about his co-star’s wish to come to India to promote their movie and being unable to do so because of the ban on Pakistani artistes, he first revealed that while shooting he was unaware about the country she belonged to. Speaking exclusively to ZoomTV.com, Arshad said, “I don’t even know that she was a Pakistani. That’s the sad part (laughs). I always thought she was from Muscat or somewhere like that.” On being informed that Sara has dual citizenship, Arshad quipped, “She is a fraud! (laughs). I always thought that she was from Muscat because I think I asked her once, she told me she was from somewhere there. So, I was like, “Oh, okay”. So, I didn’t even know that.” He further added, “I hope it (her Indian visa) happens before the 18th (Fraud Saiyaan’s release date). Because if she gets a visa for the 19th, it’s pointless (laughs)”.
