Actor Ali Zafar made his Bollywood debut in 2010 with ‘Tere Bin Laden,’ and went on to do seven Indian films over the years, including, ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’, ‘Chashme Baddoor’ and ‘Dear Zindagi’. But after the 2016 ban on Pakistani artistes in India, things changed. However, Zafar is hopeful that he will soon get to take up a project in Bollywood. In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, the actor, whose last Bollywood film was Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Dear Zindagi,’ says that he is an idealist and always sees a silver lining in every situation. He adds, “I think everything happens for a reason and you need to take out the best from that situation and apply it in a way that you make a better tomorrow. And I think the future is bright… I believe in the power of love. I have always given love to India and I have always received love.” Ali’s home production ‘Teefa In Trouble’ that released in July 2018, went on to become a huge success, and was also the top grossing Pakistan film ever released on a non-festive weekend.
