QUETTA: The Quetta Valley received snow and light rain Tuesday night. It was short lived but the sky was overcast, indicating the possibility of light rain at night. The minimum temperature recorded on Tuesday was minus 4.1 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature was 7.5 Celsius. Meanwhile, travellers are facing great difficulties due to the blockade of Quetta-Karachi, Quetta-Zhob and other areas. The national highway remained blocked between Muslim Bagh and Kan Mehterzai and normal traffic could not be restored on the fourth day. Hundreds of vehicles are stranded on both sides. Instead of helping passengers, the administration berated them for travelling during snowfall. Meanwhile, there was low pressure of gas in major parts of the Metropolis. Supply was disconnected in Pahstoonabad, Sariab Road, Brewery road, Samungli road and other areas for hours together. Residents along the Western bypass blocked roads and shouted slogans against the administration.
