Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday received Minister for Interior of Turkey Suleyman Soylu at the Prime Minister Office. The two leaders discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance mutual cooperation in various areas during the meeting. Minister of State for Interior Shehryar Khan Afridi was also present during the meeting. According to a press release, PM Khan expressed satisfaction over the upward trajectory of Pak-Turkish bilateral relations and extended invitation to Turkish President and Turkish leadership to visit Pakistan. The press statement said that the Turkish minister felicitated Prime Minister Imran Khan on behalf of the Turkish leadership on assuming charge as the premier of the country. He conveyed the message of felicitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and assured the premier of all possible support of Turkey to Pakistan. During the meeting, the Turkish minister also extended an invitation to Prime Minister Imran Khan to visit Turkey. Published in Daily Times, December 18th2018.
