Sir: I would like to draw the attention of concerned authorities towards an important issue. We are so far gone that we are desensitized to a child working on the street. Surely this is a violation of numerous laws. If something happens to their child, who would be liable? The government should enforce the rules and regulations of childlabour law and act in no time to save the children of Pakistan. Children should be placed in shelters and forced to attend school depending on their age. Children are forced into early child labour from as little as one-year-old. Every single child on the street is evidence that the government has given up on the very basic of laws. Child labour awareness and programmes should be co-ordinated to help these children. As mentioned earlier, forced child begging is one of the worst forms of child labour and despite being clearly visible, nothing is being done to save children, so our government must take this seriously and try to erect it.
