The euro stood firm in value against rupee as it started day’s trading at Rs 156.87 for buying, closed at Rs 157.87 for buying and at Rs 158.07 for selling after Re 1 upward change. The pound sterling remained firm against domestic unit as it initiated the day’s trading at Rs 173.84 for buying and closed at Rs 174.84 for buying and Rs 175.04 for selling after gaining Re 1.
