Isha Ambani, daughter of India’s richest man Mukesh Ambani and Anand Piramal’s tied the knot on Wednesday after a week-long lavish wedding celebration that included a concert by Beyoncé.

The event was held at the Ambanis’ posh Mumbai residence, Antilia and was attended by the who’s who of Bollywood, sports, politics, business world and US former first lady Hillary Clinton.

The wedding ceremony was a traditional Gujarati one and despite being one of the biggest events of the year, it seemed like every other wedding, with the ladkiwalas excitedly waiting for the baaraat, the ladkewalas dancing their hearts out in the baaraat and the parents of the bride getting emotional while giving their daughter away.
