Three labourers suffocate to death in Karachi

KARACHI: Three labourers died after fumes from a power generator left running overnight at a factory in Karachi on Monday, the police officials reported.

According to details, the labourers used to work at computerised printing of fabric designs factory in Shah Faisal Colony.

The incident happened when the workers left the generator running all night and slept due to prolonged disruption of power supply.

They were found in an unconscious state by their fellow in the morning. The workers were taken to Jinnah hospital where they were pronounced dead, rescue officials stated.
