Pakistan’s very own Malala Yousafzai has been selected to feature in the newly released artwork for Coldplay’s ‘A Head Full Of Dreams’ documentary. The documentary is named after the band’s 2015 record, A Head Full Of Dreams which offers an in-depth and intimate portrait of the band for the last 20 years from the backrooms of Camden pubs to selling out stadiums across the globe. The album, which sold over six million copies worldwide, was supported by five singles: Adventure of a Lifetime, Hymn for the Weekend, Up & Up, A Head Full of Dreams and Everglow. In a recent interview, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin said, “We wanted to make the album that we’ve always dreamed of.” “It’s just like a dream come true, the whole thing. It was just time for us to make an album about hope, love and togetherness,” he added. .Directed by Mat Whitecross, best known for Oasis’ 2016 documentary Supersonic, the film documents the first time the four friends met at college in 1996, before they’d even formed the band to their very first rehearsal in a cramped student bedroom. Yousafzai is currently studying at Oxford University and is an advocate for girls’ education.
