Sindh Governor Imran Ismail paid a visit to Saylani Welfare Trust (SWT) in Bahadurabad on Sunday. During his visit, the governor went to different sections of the SWT and received a briefing regarding food, education, medical and other welfare facilities. The Sindh governor appreciated the services of SWT for the people of this country, purely on humanitarian grounds. He also assured the management of all out support in promotion of their cause. Later, the Sindh governor distributed certificates among the successful candidates of the short course. Medals were also awarded to the top of the line students. Imran Ismail observed that the SWT was being run in an advanced and systematic manner with utmost honesty and dedication. “The services and role of the management is laudable and in fact inspirational”, he added.The Sindh governor Sindh also donated Rs1 million (m) to the trust. Imran Ismail said that the philanthropists should come forward and start different welfare projects. “Federal government is committed to bringing improvements in life of a common man. Endeavours are underway to provide shelter homes to homeless people, under the special directives of PM. Other such projects are also in the pipelines,” he reiterated. He said that the federal government had decided to launch a health card scheme for the people living below the poverty line.
