Two notorious criminals involved in looting and injuring a citizen were arrested during an operation here in the metropolis on Saturday. The police on a tip-off regarding presence of wanted criminals conducted the operation in Ittehad Town Karachi. During the operation, two notorious criminals identified as Qaiser alias Baba and Tahir alias Yaru were arrested. The culprits had snatched 170,000 rupees cash from a citizen on November and injured him by shooting him upon resistance. The detainee in the preliminary investigation admitted to their crime. Further investigation was underway after registration of a case against them. Published in Daily Times, November 18th 2018.
