Sir: Gulistan-i-Sarmast housing scheme announced by Hyderabad Development Authority (HDA) in 2009. It is located near Hyderabad airport 10-km south to Hyderabad city. The project spans 2,800 acers of land, in which more than 40,000 residential and commercial plots have been allotted to people. This project is a mega housing scheme in the city. However, the scheme’s development projects such as drinking water, electricity gas, roads, educational institutions, parks etc., were supposed to be completed within 5 years, but only 20 percent of development projects have hardly been completed by HDA so for while more than 80 percent owners have paid their dues.

This time, these people are very despaired, neither they can make shelters for their families nor they can sell their plots, due to unavailability of basic facilities. It is requested to concerned authorities to conduct an enquiry of negligence of HDA and provide basic facilities as soon as possible, to this project; so that families can build shelters and take a sigh of relief.
