KARACHI: The Sindh government has issued a new notification regarding the ban on pillion riding in the province on Saturday.
The Sindh Home Department states that the Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) will remain in effect in the province from 10th Rabiul Awwal till 13th (November 19th to 22nd) in the new notification.
According to a notification issued, The ban has been imposed on carrying weapons and the use of loudspeakers, pillion ridding, carrying, processing or playing of provocative audio video material provocative speeches and inciting sectarian hatred, and assembly of five or more persons except processions and gathering to be held in connection with Eid Milad-un-Nabi.
Previously, a 10-day ban was imposed by the Sindh government on pillion riding.
