A small mosque has been constructed in Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Bani Gala residence, it was reported on Saturday.

According to sources, a mosque has been inaugurated inside PM’s residence in Islamabad’s Bani Gala neighbourhood to facilitate the visitors to offer prayers.

Sources added that party men and other visitors who used to frequent the PM’s residence used to offer their prayers in congregation in the house’s lawn but now the house has its own mosque.

It is pertinent to note that PM’s wife Bushra Bibi had revealed during an interview last month that said that Imran Khan not only offers farz (obligatory) prayers but offers nawafil (optional prayers) as well.

“Every day, while leaving for office, he raises his hands and prays to God for help,” said the first lady.

She also revealed the besides praying five times a day, Khan does not even go to sleep without reciting tasbih.

About Khan’s spiritual journey, she said that the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief was basically a pure and pious soul and needed guidance to come to the right path.
