Will have to work day and night to fulfil people’s expectations: Bilawal

KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardarisaid that the expectations the public had pinned on PPP government in Sindh were so high that the ministers and elective representatives had to work day and night to fulfil them.

This Bilawal Bhutto said while talking to the newly-inducted ministers and special assistants to Sindh chief minister (CM), at Bilawal House on Friday. He added that delivery targets for the cabinet had been fixed by CM Murad as per PPP’s manifesto. He then asked the new cabinet members to plan and execute policies to achieve the tasks mentioned in the party manifesto.

CM Murad Ali Shah was also present in the meeting. Ministers Awais Shah, NawabTaimurTalpur, Abdul Bari Pitafi, Murtaza Baloch, Special Assistants to Chief Minister Waqar Mehdi, Rashid Rabbani, Dr KhatumalJeewan, AshfaqMemon,Qasim Naveed and NawabWassan also attended the meeting.

Separately, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP)Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed grief and sorrow over the assassinations of Afghan Governor and officials during a terrorist attack in Kandahar.

In a statement, the PPP chairman said that penetration of extremist and terrorist mind-set was so deep that both officials and citizens were under security threats. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari condoled with the bereaved families of the victims of Kandahar terrorist incident and the people of Afghanistan, on behalf of the people of Pakistan.
