Sir: To seek special and immediate attention of concerned authorities, I request the editor to put light on the issues of education and health in District Rajanpur and its suburbs which are in dire need of amelioration. In Rajanpur, health department is staggering on its crutches and people even cannot tie expectations of better treatment with public as well as private doctors. There is no any machinery, if there is, inefficient staff is placed to operate it, further intensifying problems of people. Doctors, even young ones, cannot treat any disease more severe than fever; even patients die out of typhoid, my own experience. There is no governmental attention on educational system, only academies are getting the credit of imparting education like Khwaja Fareed Academy. This area has been avoided by every government much like tribal areas, justice and equitable services should reach everywhere. Chief Minister Usman Buzdar is highly requested to examine the issues, as he is also well aware of the area. Rajanpur wants to see the difference between administration of Takht-e-Lahore and its own Southern Punjab. JAN SHER KHAN Rajanpur Published in Daily Times, October 17th 2018.
