KARACHI: The government has deprived Sindh of its due share of funds, PPP Central Secretary Information Maula Bukhsh Chandio said on Tuesday. “Sindh is the largest contributor of revenue for national exchequer but entire budget have been spending only in Lahore.” He said this after visiting Southern Punjab PPP General Secretary Shaukat Basra at a hospital. “Sindh should be given its due share because our province collecting largest revenues for national exchequer but it is deprived development funds and packages.” The court ruled against the two PPP prime ministers, but the PPP never went against judges. Former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was executed by dictator General Ziaul Haq, not the judiciary. “Bhutto’s name is written in history with golden words but no one knows the dictator.” “It is unfortunate that entire budget of the country have been spend in Lahore only but no one raise question from the rulers.” “We condemned the attack on Shaukat Basra as police official and Punjab government are involved in the firing incident that claimed the live of Basra’s secretary and injuring him,” he said, adding, “No one asked the Punjab government regarding this incident.” “Institutions only raised questions and take notice against PPP and remained silent against others,” he blamed. “Court ruled against two PPP prime ministers but the PPP never against judges but there should be one law for everyone,” he said, adding, “We will raise questions against their decisions. Our country’s foreign minister could be an advisor but we are against judgments not judges. In this country, there are many dirty birds were washed and cleaned.” To a question, he said MQM leader Saleem Shahzad would be cleared soon. “PPP remained the largest ideologue political party in the country that has sacrifice lives and blood for the cause of democracy. Our demand is not for excessive against anyone but claiming for our due share and we do not want clash between institutions,” he concluded.
