‘Worst decision ever’, Twitter reacts to Muhammad Salah’s Puskas award

Liverpool forward Muhammad Salah did not win the FIFA best player award on Monday, but he di d win the Puskas (goal of the season) award for his goal against Everton.

Real Madrid’s Luka Modric won the award with 29.05 percent of the votes, while Juventus’ forward Cristiano Ronaldo received 19.08 percent and Salah got 11.23 percent of the votes.

Despite losing out on the best player award, Salah did manage to not go empty handed and was awarded the Puskas – award given to scorer of the best voted goal of the season.

However, this did not sit well with many football fans. A number of people believed that Salah did not deserve to win the award and that it should have gone to Ronaldo for his effort against Juventus.
