Sarfaraz suspicious over venue change for super four

DUBAI: Pakistan skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed on Wednesday expressed suspicion over change of venue in the super four stage of the Asia Cup 2018.

Pakistan will play its group stage fixture against India at the Dubai International Stadium today, while for super four stage fixtures against Afghanistan and Bangladesh, the venue would be Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium.

Expressing suspicion over India playing its fixtures on the same venue, Sarfaraz said such a thing was beyond comprehension and that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) must raise the issue with the International Cricket Council (ICC).

“The rules of a tournament should be the same for all the teams,” Sarfaraz said.
