Plantation drive kicked off in Larkana

LARKANA: Deputy Commissioner, Larkana, Kashif Ali Tipu and Mayor Muhammad Aslam Shaikh on Friday launched the tree plantation drive by planting 400 saplings here at the Benazir Bhutto Municipal Stadium. Talking to the media, they said that 30,000 saplings will be planted during the drive throughout the district to save it from pollution. Larkana district will be turned into a green city, they added. He urged citizens to plant maximum plants in their respective areas to keep the environment neat and clean.
