Rana Sanaullah says PPP is facilitating PTI

ISLAMABAD: Paksitan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rana Sanaullah has criticised Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) for not withdrawing its candidate for the presidential election saying the only purpose of Aitzaz’s candidature was to facilitate Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

While reacting to the results of presidential elections held today, the PML-N leader said “Aitzaz Ahsan was not the candidate of joint opposition. PPP will never play the role of real opposition.”

Earlier, PTI’s Arif Alvi was elected 13th President of Pakistan defeating PPP’s Aitzaz Ahsan and the nominee of other opposition parties Fazlur Rehman.

Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the defeat has proven opposition alliance was ‘unnatural’. He also claimed that the alliance would never be able to unite in near future too.
