Sir: First of all, I would like to honour Murad Ali Shah for becoming the Chief Minister (CM) of Sindh for the second time in a row. I am writing this letter, because I want to bring the incompetence of the Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) to his attention. The people of Sindh have been suffering because of the maladministration of this organisation for a long time. Recently, the last Combined Competitive Examinations taken in 2013 were challenged in the High Court again. A decade has passed since the CCE process has been completed. Because of this, a large number of Sindh’s CCE aspirants have become overage, and all their hardwork has gone to waste. Therefore, I would like to request that the upper age limit be relaxed. Individuals as old as 35 years should be allowed to take part in the CCE 2019 exam, otherwise it would be a massive injustice. The last date of form submission is September 3. CM Murad Ali Shah, please do consider this request. The Sindh’s CCE aspirants would be very thankful if you alleviate their concerns. WAQAR ABRO Karachi Published in Daily Times, August 18th 2018.
