The decision was made during a consultative meeting chaired by PTI chairman Imran Khan at his residence in Banigala on Thursday.
The PTI has already announced to nominate Imran Ismail and Chaudhry Sarwar as the governors of Sindh and Punjab, respectively.
Though the governors appointed by the former PML-N government in Punjab and Sindh have resigned from their posts, KP governer Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, a senior leader of PML-N, has yet to make such an announcement.
Farman had served as the provincial information minister in Pervez Khattak’s cabinet. In the July 25 election, Farman won from PK-70 and PK-71 constituencies. After a recount, he lost the PK-70 seat to Awami National Party’s (ANP) Khushdil Khan.
