HYDERABAD: The Sindh Text Book Board (STBB) in Jamshoro on Wednesday asked schools across Sindh for the lists of students which would enable them in publishing a required number of books, according to a press release issued by STBB. Moreover, in case of failure to acquire lists which would lead to shortage of books, the officers of subdivisions and districts would be held responsible. The press release further said that the tenders for publishing books were to be given within 10 days by August 21, and in this regard, all concerned education officers, Sindh Education Foundation and DMC Karachi were informed to acquire medium of all schools in their respective areas, and the number of students. If any officer misses any school (merged, campus or single school), he would be held responsible as the board would publish books according to the last years’ list. Meanwhile, STBB chairman Agha Sohail Ahmed Pathan asked students, parents and teachers to extend their cooperation in this regard. Published in Daily Times, August 16th 2018.
