LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Lahore has summoned former federal minister Khawaja Saad Rafiq and his brother Salman Rafiq on August 15 in a housing scheme scam. A three-member team investigated the former federal minister on March 28 in case pertaining to the housing scheme reportedly owned by them in Lahore. Addressing a press conference on March 28 after NAB appearance, the former minister said that the slogan for accountability has been chanted for another purpose. He further said that he had worked for the country selflessly. However, some faces want to malign the politicians, he said. To resume the investigation, NAB has summoned Khawaja Saad Rafiq and his brother Khawaja Salman Rafiq on August 15.
