DADU: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former Sindh chief minister Liaquat Ali Jatoi on Sunday addressed a public gathering held in the Faridabad town of Dadu district, in which around 2,500 people belonging to different tribes left Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and joined PTI.

“PPP and PMLN ministers will soon be held accountable for their corruption and looted money will be recovered,” he remarked.

He maintained that the people of Sindh have decided to support PTI after PPP had failed to serve and deliver people their due rights.

He revealed that the upcoming general election will be held under Pak Army to ensure transparency in the polls.

“PPP and PMLN’s attempts and tactics to rig an election will be foiled, hence there is zero probability that they will win the election,” he added.

Jatoi further claimed that during the tenure of PPP, people faced acute drinking water shortage and agricultural yield was reduced.

He added that PPP activists who dedicated their entire careers for the party were neglected as Asif Ali Zardari dominated the party.

He further alleged that PPP ministers committed corruption of billions of rupees through development schemes and projects and that amount was aimed to rig the 2018 general election.

“Unemployment rate and youth suicide rate increased respectively,” Jatoi added.

“The condition of education and health sector has worsened during the tenure of PPP in Sindh,” he said adding that Sindh government had failed to formulate and implement adequate agricultural policies for the improvement of agriculture sector.

He revealed that growers of Sugarcane, cotton, wheat and other crops suffered a loss of billions of rupees due to defective and substandard policies of the Sindh government. Former Zila Nazim Karim Ali Jatoi, PTI district president Sardar Ashiq Ali Zour and PTI Sindh vice-president Sadaqat Ali Jatoi also addressed the gathering.
