Pakistan government on Thursday banned screening of Indian movies during the festivals of Eid-ul Fitr and Eid-ul Azha, a private news channel reported. The ministry of information and broadcasting issued a notification in this regard and said that the ban is aimed at reviving and promoting local industry. According to the notification, the federal government has decided to put a limited ban on the screening and exhibition of Indian films on the occasion of Eid ul Fitr and Eid ul Azha.
