Asim Azhar got on stage to sing some of his most loved tracks like “Tera woh pyar” and some cover versions of popular hits like “Shape of you,” “Ali da malang” etc. Azhar’s performance was a breath of fresh air that added glamour and glitz to the night, keeping the audience engaged and rocking to every beat. Acclaimed singer and actor Junaid Khan, actor Azfar Rahman, designers Emraan Rajput and Mona Imran were also some of the attendees. ‘I feel that Pakistan indulges in a lot of import items to cater to its people’s demands, whereas all these things that are imported can easily be manufactured here. Our country is so self-sufficient and we don’t even realise that. I know Nabeel & Aqeel ventured into fragrances and so did J. But that’s all and Pakistanis need to be spoilt for choice, be it anything. They deserve it. So I welcome the idea of in-house perfumes and colognes. Something to call our own,’ Fawaz Dandia said, while talking exclusively to Daily Times. The media and PR for the event were handled by the creative team behind Walnut Communications.
