RAWALPINDI: Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Rawalpindi, while resolving illegal transfer case of nearly 1,000 kanal land, arrested six including Fateh Jang Land Record Assistant Director Abdul Majeed allegedly involved the fraud. According to details, ACE Rawalpindi after initial inquiry against 14 persons allegedly involved in a land fraud case managed to arrest six including Abdul Majeed, ASCI Rana Nauman, SCOs Liaquat Ali and Aamir Ali Bhatti, vendees representative Malik Tassawar Hussain and vendor Sohail Sarfraz son of Sarfraz Khan. Talking to media, ACE Rawalpindi Director Arif Rahim informed that Ammar Siddique son of Muhammad Siddique Khan resident of Tehsil Taxila, District Rawalpindi made a complaint to the ACE that the complainant’s father Muhammad Siddique Khan son of Muhammad Hayyat Khan was owner of land measuring 990 kanals and 14 marlas in the revenue estate of Dharnaal who has now passed away and the inheritance mutation is yet to be entered in the land record. The officers of Arazi Centre Fateh Jang illegally and fraudulently through bogus attestation, forgery in record and preparing bogus ‘Fard Badar’ maliciously transferred the land vide mutations No 3989, 3990, 3991 and 3992, whereas, Sohail Sarfraz was neither owner of land in the said mauza nor he had the right to sale out the land. He said, on the report of preliminary inquiry team from ACE Attock, an FIR #11 on April 20 was registered against the accused while after further investigation, the allegation of illegal transfer of nearly 1,000 kanal land has been proved and the above persons were found responsible for the land fraud.
