According to details, LTC has maintained the tradition of plying public transport for Sikh pilgrims that was fervently acclaimed by the Sikh commuters arrived from the neighbouring country.
In accordance with the operational plan, the public transport is being provided to Sikh pilgrims as non-stop service from the railway station to Gurdwara Daira Sahib as per requested by the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) by complying agreed protocol between India and Pakistan. The fixed fare of Rs 30 per person is being charged from the commuter who would avail this special public transport service to reach his/her destination. Similarly, this special public transport service will also be provided to Sikh pilgrims on their departure from Gurdwara Daira Sahib to Railway Station on April 21 when required by ETPB.
