SHIKARPUR: The District and Sessions Judge Shikarpur passed an order to register an FIR against two SHOs and three other policemen for injuring a villager during alleged police encounter and registering a case against Ilyas Ahmed by caste Deenari, here on Friday. According to details, a couple of days back, Wakeel Ahmed Jaffari, SHO Golo Daro Police Station, Abdul Qadir Langha SHO Garhi Yasin, along with heavy contingent raided on village Imam Bux Jaffari and picked up three villagers including Ilyas Ahmed Deenari and then all arrested villagers were kept at Garhi Yasin Police Station. Later, Police claimed to have been arrested Ilyas Ahmed Deenari after an encounter and he was presented before media in injured condition, before a weak ago, on it, the mother of injured villager namely Mst Mooran wife of Nazar Muhammad Deenari, through her counsel Ali Muhammad Memon, submitted a constitutional petition against Police and seeking justice in it. The District and Sessions Judge Shikarpur passed an order to register an FIR against both the SHOs and three other cops at Golo Daro Police Station. Talking to media persons, Mst Mooran said that police have done injustice without any justification and she would not forgive police officers as well as officials involved in fake encounter and injuring her son, she added. Separately, Muhammad Mithal Kaladi, a resident of Lakhi Ghulam Shah Town, submitted an application at District and Sessions Court Shikarpur against police injustice and injuring his son in an alleged police encounter took place at Lakhi Ghulam Shah railway Phattak [gate], before a week ago, in the limits of Lakhi Ghulam Shah Police Station. Later, Lakhi Ghulam Shah Police claimed to have arrested a criminal namely Zakir Kaladi, after an encounter and arrested his accomplices namely Bilal Mahar. The District and Sessions Judge Shikarpur gave strict instructions to SSP Shikarpur Zeeshan Siddiqui to investigate ‘thoroughly’ into the matter. Besides, Waseem Mahar, the brother of arrested youth Bilal Mahar, has submitted an application at Sindh High Court Bench Larkana against injustice of Shikarpur police and seeking justice for his arrested brother Bilal Mahar. Talking to Daily Times, Waseem Mahar said that Sindh High Court, Bench Larkana issued notices to DIG Police Larkana, SSP Shikarpur, DSP Lakhi Ghulam Shah, SHOs of Lakhi Ghulam Shah and Jahan Waah Police Station to appear on 28th March of this month along with relevant record and he appealed of the higher authorities to take notice of the police injustice.
