LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday rejected the idea of forming an alliance with either Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairperson Asif Ali Zardari or Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) lifetime head Nawaz Sharif.
“PTI will never form alliance with PPP’s Asif Ali Zardari or PML-N’s Nawaz Sharif since they both are corrupt. When I spoke about horse trading in Senate, they opposed me, and now that they have lost, they are the one’s talking about it,” Imran said while speaking to media in Lahore.
Turning his guns towards Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Imran claimed that the CM has spent Rs 635 billion in a single year, and that an additional Rs 60 billion was spent on Multan metro – which is of no use according to the PTI chief.
He continued that Shehbaz has spent ‘all resources’ on self-advertising and that he could not establish a ‘decent’ hospital in the province.
