According to reports, Bollywood star Sonam Kapoor is all set to tie the knot with Anand Ahuja. The function would be a two day ceremony on May11 and 12 and will take place in Geneva, Switzerland. Sonam Kapoor is a Bollywood actress, daughter of the famous Bollywood star Anil Kapoor. The Bollywood diva had been dating Anand Ahuja, a businessman, for a while now. Recently, the couple was together for a short vacation in London. Sonam Kapoor then flew to Austria for her spa treatment. “The date and venue for the wedding have been locked and mass bookings for flights are presently underway,” read a report. “Her father Anil Kapoor is personally making phone calls to invite guests,” it added. Reports also revealed, “there will be sangeet and mehndi ceremonies, followed by a traditional Hindu wedding. The nuptials will be preceded by an engagement ceremony attended by the family’s inner circle but the venue for that is presently not known.” However, many wonder why the couple chose Geneva as the location for their destination wedding. Well, Sonam is the brand ambassador for a luxury Swiss watch manufacture for which she was recently in Geneva. The actor fell in love with Geneva’s beauty and thus, decided to have the ceremony there, said the reports. Moreover, famous designer Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla will design the wedding outfit for Sonam Kapoor. Close friends along with British designer Ralph & Russo will also pitch in for the couple’s wedding ensembles. Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja have been together for two years now. Although the two never clearly admitted to being in a relationship, they also didn’t shy away from posting pictures of them together on social media. Their relationship came into limelight when Anand attended Anil Kapoor’s 60th birthday celebrations in London back in 2016. They are also frequently spotted vacationing together.
