BANNU: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Saturday said that his party would ensure implementation of the KP-FATA merger when it is elected to power. “PPP will engineer FATA-KP merger,” Bilawal said during a party rally in Bannu. He also questioned Jamaat Ulama-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) Chairman Fazlur Rehman over his opposition, saying that “what grudges does Fazlur Rehman hold against the people of FATA which makes him oppose the move?” Turning his attention towards former president Gen (retd) Pervaiz Musharraf, Bilawal said that Musharraf must be punished according to law. “It does not matter if you are a terrorist or Musharraf, you should be held accountable and punished according to law,” Bilawal said. The PPP chief added that it is impossible to station security forces on every street of the country and that extremism must be countered through rule of law. Taking jibes at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, Bilawal termed him as ‘the biggest liar in the world’. “All Imran Khan does is use curse words and take u-turns,” Bilawal added, while in a possible reference to PTI leader Jahangir Tareen, Bilawal commented that “the Supreme Court has disqualified Imran’s ATM machine.”
